Using Lumixsilva hard wax beads at home is simple. Melt the hard wax in a wax warmer until it reaches a smooth, honey-like consistency. Apply a thin layer in the direction of hair growth, allow it to cool and harden slightly, then remove it quickly against the direction of hair growth. Our vegan hard wax beads are suitable for bikini waxing, underarms, facial hair removal, arms, and legs.

For the best waxing results, start with clean, dry skin. Wash the area to remove dirt, oil, or skincare products, then pat completely dry. Avoid lotions, creams, or body oils before waxing, as they can prevent the hard wax from gripping the hair properly. Proper skin preparation helps achieve smoother hair removal and reduces irritation.

Heat Lumixsilva hard wax beads to approximately 50°C–55°C (122°F–131°F) using a wax warmer. The wax should have a smooth, honey-like texture that spreads easily without being runny. Always test a small amount on your wrist before applying to larger areas. Proper wax temperature helps ensure safe and effective hair removal while reducing the risk of burns.

Most hard wax beads take about 20–30 minutes to fully melt on a high heat setting. Once melted, reduce the temperature and allow the wax to cool slightly until it reaches a smooth consistency. Melting time may vary depending on your wax warmer and the amount of wax beads being heated.

For best results, hair should be about 1/4 inch (6 mm) long before waxing. This length allows the hard wax to grip the hair effectively for cleaner removal from the root. If hair is too short, the wax may not adhere properly. If it's much longer, trimming slightly before waxing can make the process more comfortable, especially for bikini line and body waxing.

Most people use around 100–150 grams of hard wax beads for a full leg waxing session, depending on hair thickness and coverage area.
